This chart shows the top 10 apps of 2016 by the number of average, unique users. Notice the owners? There are only four companies holding the top 10 list: Facebook, Google, Apple, and Amazon. Google and Facebook alone own the top eight apps. It's challenging to stand out amongst giants such as these.
